“For years, I have longed for meaningful ministerial companionship. While I’ve known many pastors and ministers, I’ve often struggled to form true connections with them. I have mostly walked this journey alone, and at times, it has been a heavy burden. Fellowship of Lone Shepherds reminded me that I am not alone in this experience—and that God is answering my unspoken prayer by connecting me to this fellowship.”

Duke, pastor in Ghana

Purpose

To cultivate joy and resilience in small church pastors so they can flourish in their pastoral and personal lives

Vision

To create and sustain an international network of small church pastors and other isolated ministry workers who are supported and equipped to be dedicated disciples of Jesus Christ as they serve their ministries faithfully and joyfully

Mission

To support and connect small church pastors through facilitating friendship, providing vocational encouragement, emphasizing a holistic view of health, providing needed resources, and strengthening discipleship

Fellowship of Lone Shepherds affirms the traditional tenets of the Christian faith as summarized in the Apostles’, Nicene, and Athanasian Creeds and the Lausanne Covenant. We also celebrate and give thanks that the call to pastoral ministry falls on both men and women. We are open to working with a wide range of Christian churches, missionaries, parachurch organizations, and nonprofits (including non-faith based nonprofits that do not contradict our values).
